1.DO YOU DELIVER?
Yes, we deliver throughout the National Capital Region, including Gatineau. Once your order is confirmed, we will arrange a suitable delivery time with the appropriate concierge, property manager, or individual. Our delivery schedule is flexible, recognizing that travel schedules vary widely. Our fee of $20 includes delivery and, where appropriate, equipment set up, and return pick up.
2.WILL YOU DELIVER TO MY HOTEL OR TO THE AIRPORT?
We will deliver to any location, including the airport, within the National Capital Region. We will also arrange to meet you at car rental agencies either in or around the airport. With the exception of full size cribs, and of course depending on the size of the order and the size of the vehicle, items can be delivered to you directly at the same time you are picking up your rental vehicle. Please provide your flight and car rental information on your reservation form along with an estimated time of arrival to the car rental agency.
3.IS THERE A DELIVERY CHARGE?
Yes, there is a charge of $20 within the city, $30 if we deliver to the airport in light of parking fees.
4.WHAT ARE THE LAWS IN ONTARIO REGARDING CAR SEAT USE?
The law stipulates that it is mandatory for anyone transporting children to make sure children are properly secured in an infant seat, child seat, or booster seat. This would apply to all people equally, including tourists. Rear-facing infant car seats are required for infants weighing 9kg (20 lbs) or less. Forward-facing child car seats are required for children weighing between 9kg and 18 kg (20 to 40 lbs), children about one year of age. Booster seats are required for children under the age of eight, weighing more than 18 kg but less than 36 kg (40-80 lbs) and who stands less than 145 cm (4 feet 9 inches) tall.
A child can start using a seatbelt alone once any one of the following criteria is met:
- child turns eight years old
- child weighs 36 kg (80 lbs)
- child is 145 cm (4 feet 9 inches) tall.
5.HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
Ordering is easy and can be done straight through our web site. Simply go to the "order now" page of the website and either fill out the online order form or contact us by calling the toll free number or by email. You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours. We will ask for a credit card number as security at this point.
6.WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Cancellation can be made up to 48 hours before delivery with no charge. We will credit the full amount on your credit card. For cancellations with 48 hours of scheduled delivery, a cancellation fee of %50 of total rental will be charged.
7.IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER?
Yes, a $30.00 minimum order is required (plus delivery).
8.HOW DO YOU ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THE EQUIPMENT?
All of our products are purchased brand new within Canada and conform to Health Canada's Safety Guidelines for Children. We continuously check the internet for recalls and product warnings. We also safety inspect all of our equipment prior to each delivery.
9.DO YOU INSTALL CAR SEATS?
For liability reasons, we do not install car seats; all of our car seats come with the manufacturers’ manual.
10.HOW IS THE EQUIPMENT CLEANED AND MAINTAINED?
As parents ourselves, we understand the concern of parents when is comes to the safety, cleanliness, and quality of products for their child. The products we offer have all been selected due to their exceptional quality as well as the ease with which they can be cleaned and maintained. All of our equipment has been purchased new and is thoroughly cleaned and maintained in like-new condition. We continually monitor condition and replace equipment to keep our inventory in peak condition. After each use, all of our products are sanitized with non-toxic Seventh Generation cleaning products. Cloth materials are laundered in hot water with fragrance-free detergent.
11.DO YOU TAKE LAST MINUTE ORDERS?
We recommend you reserve as soon as possible to make sure we have the items in stock. We do realize, however, that plans change, so please let us know immediately so that we can accommodate your needs.
12.HOW DO I PAY?
Once you have submitted your order, you will be sent an invoice from us. The invoice will list the items you wish to rent, together with a security deposit amount and delivery charge.
13.DO YOU REQUIRE A SECURITY DEPOSIT?
A security deposit equal to 50% of the value of your order will be charged. If an item gets damaged during your rental period, we will retain an appropriate amount from the security deposit in order to repair or replace it. Normal wear-and-tear is taken into account. The renter is responsible for loss or theft of rental equipment and agrees to pay for any replacements needed. Products must be returned with all accessories and parts intact and in proper working order. At the end of the rental period and upon satisfactory inspection of the equipment hired, you will be credited the security deposit amount to your credit card. The security deposit is required when placing your order.
14.DO YOU ASSEMBLE THE EQUIPMENT?
Certain equipment will be assembled upon delivery at no extra cost. Equipment that requires assembly includes cribs, highchairs and swings.
15.DO YOU PROVIDE LONG TERM RENTALS?
Long term rentals are available on orders lasting more than 3 weeks. Discounts will apply to long term rentals of more than three weeks.
